Hydration is another key factor. Dry, tight, dull skin is often linked to dehydration or a damaged skin barrier. Drinking adequate clean water supports normal skin function from within, while external rinsing can help the skin feel refreshed. If you are dehydrated but buying serums, you are solving the wrong problem.
It is also commonly discussed for helping skin appear calmer and fresher after exposure to heat, sweat, or pollution. That does not mean it is a miracle treatment for acne, eczema, or medical skin issues. Be realistic: water supports skin health, but it does not replace dermatology when a real condition exists.
